Our Durham, North Carolina-based portrait studio specializes in authentic lifestyle photography. What that means is that our photographers take the time to get to know you, observe the interactions between you and your loved ones, and ensure that the sessions are fun and relaxed. The result is images that truly capture the essence of your relationships and the emotion of the moment. We offer portrait photography, wedding photography, commercial photography, and editorial photography. We serve the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill areas and are available for destination shoots.

Our studio is located at the Southpoint Renaissance Center in South Durham, North Carolina, across from the Nordstrom-facing side of Southpoint Mall – and dangerously close to Healing Waters Day Spa, Starbucks Coffee. Even more concerning, The Apple Store beckons from just minutes away – and Best Buy is practically across the street!  A bit too well-situated of a location for photographers who love well-designed technology and all the latest new releases.

Our 2100 square-foot space serves as our client meeting area, gallery, showroom, and two separate shooting spaces that offer natural light and portrait lighting options. We are happy to discuss (in person, by phone or by skype) your preferences for the shoot, as well as offer ideas for outdoor locations (plentiful) and clothing specifics (ditto).  It’s also helpful to show you our selection of framed portraits, canvas fine art pieces, couture boards and custom-designed albums.

We love meeting with you right after we deliver your photographs from the shoot so that we can see them projected BIG together.  This is one of our favorite parts of the entire experience, stepping through your chosen photographs and creating a custom order that you will love for years to come.

Please note, for those who travel in for sessions and workshops: we are conveniently located two minutes away from The Courtyard Marriott and 15 minutes from the airport. Unless you would prefer one, you do not need a rental car if you will only be spending time in the Southpoint area.
