Limit of 15 Participants
▪ 3 very full days of workshop participation (Tuesday – Thursday)
▪ Catered breakfasts, lunches, snacks and beverages
▪ A generous swag bag of assorted photography products and goodies worth hundreds of dollars, plus many more big giveaways
▪ Celebratory wrap-up dinner out with everyone
In addition, Tamara will conduct a private one-on-one 30-minute mentoring session with each participant.
This advanced level 2 workshop is based on the understanding that everyone attending will already have the first workshop under their belt or will be at a more advanced stage of business.
There will be a quick refresh at the beginning and then we’ll dive in deeper and focus on common pain points (we’ll be sending out a survey), work with more advanced shooting techniques, branding/marketing assessments, digging deeper into sales, ways to stand out from your competition, setup/light/shoot more styled portrait shoots vs lifestyle ones, etc.
We’ll be covering lighting everywhere – the simplicity of continuous lighting in the studio, the ease of using portable strobes on location, as well as working with natural lighting – basically, how to keep multiple forms of lighting as simple as possible everywhere in nearly every situation.
Tamara will also focus on mapping out a marketing plan month by month and how to network within the community and ways to create real connections with your community & clients. We’ll walk through major business shifts made through hard-won experience and why some business & marketing tactics have drastically changed, for the better, based on lessons learned along the way after twelve years in business.
The full cost of the workshop includes a wrap up dinner, three full days of workshop participation, catered (and delicious) vegetarian breakfasts, lunches, snacks, beverages and a generous bag of assorted photography products and goodies.
Although enrollment deposits (1/2 to secure a spot) are non-refundable, they may be transferred to another participant or used as credit towards a future workshop. The second half of the payment is due 60 days before the workshop.
In addition, there will be individual mentoring sessions with Tamara during the workshop at no additional cost! Topics can vary from portfolio critiques to business model reviews… to whatever you’re most interested in discussing.
