There are some images, exchanges, and connections that stay with you long after the session is over. I don’t think I’m alone in this, but I often see photographs I’ve taken just running through my mind, like an ongoing slideshow set to various themes. Sometimes an image will persist so strongly, I have to go back to the session and look at it again. I think that one of the most powerful aspects of photography is the ability to seek out, uncover and then capture a specific feeling, expression, emotion. It’s not uncommon to see every emotion in the world run across the face of a child throughout the course of a day. And it’s not like these feelings go away – we still experience them as adults.
